Grace will be making her solo recital debut at London’s Wigmore hall on May 28, 2006 in a varied and exciting program of Scriabin, Granados, Liebermann, Ravel, Ginastera, Arronte (world premiere), Liszt, and Bartok.

March US Recitals

Grace will be performing recitals in the US this month, with performances in Boca Raton, Palm Beach, Dallas, and Honolulu where she will receive the 2005 Hawaii Music Award in Classical Music.

February Mozart Celebration

Grace will be making a special appearance with Concerto Malaga in Spain as part of the 250th anniversary celebration of Mozart’s birth. She will perform Mozart’s Concerto No. 12 K. 414 with them, under conductor Massimo Paris, in the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga.

2006 Grace Nikae Scholarship Award

At the annual Renaissance Academy scholarship awards ceremony in Hawaii in December, Grace proudly presented Davis Hayashi (17 years old, Pearl City High School) with the 2006 Grace Nikae Scholarship Award for his outstanding academic and scholastic work as well as for his leadership and community service. The award, presented annually to a student who displays “….exceptional potential in achieving the humanitarian and intellectual ideals of The Renaissance Academy”, will allow Davis to study one subject tuition-free for a year at the Academy. Previous winners were Cody Hayashi, Arlynne Criste, and Tiana Bohner.
